Pavel Bykov served as a fencing coach at the Novosibirsk Olympic Reserve School of Fencing from 2012 to 2018, developing athletes who achieved success at the national, European, and world levels.
From 2018 to 2024, he has been the Director and Head Coach of the school, continuing to shape the next generation of elite fencers.
Under his guidance, fencers won multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals in World Championships, European Championships, National Championships, and the Youth Olympic Games across Cadet, Junior, and Senior categories. His coaching expertise contributed to victories in both individual and team events, solidifying his reputation as a top-level sabre coach.
Coach Bykov competed in the 2012 London Olympic Games as a member of the Men’s Sabre Team, achieving a 4th place finish. His performance contributed to the team’s strong showing on the world’s biggest stage, demonstrating his skill and competitiveness at the highest level of international fencing.
